Darren Lee Sproles (born June 20, 1983) is an American football running back for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Kansas State, where he is the all-time leading rusher, and was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. Sproles was named as a kick returner on the Chargers 50th Anniversary Team.
