Barnaby Thomas Gerard Joyce (born 17 April 1967) is an Australian politician. A member of the National Party, he served as a Senator for Queensland from 2005 to 2013, and then switched to the House of Representatives. Joyce was elected leader of the National Party in 2016, and served in cabinet in the Abbott and Turnbull Governments, including as deputy prime minister in the latter.
