Lion is a 2016 Australian drama film directed by Garth Davis (in his feature debut) and written by Luke Davies, based on the non-fiction book A Long Way Home by Saroo Brierley with Larry Buttrose. On July 23, 1982, a Bell UH-1 Iroquois helicopter crashed at Indian Dunes in Valencia, Santa Clarita, California, during the making of Twilight Zone: The Movie. The crash killed three people on the ground—actor Vic Morrow and two child actors, Myca Dinh Le and Renee Shin-Yi Chen—as well as injuring the six helicopter passengers.
