The World Baseball Classic (WBC) is an international baseball tournament sanctioned from 2006 to 2013 by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and after 2013 by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).

Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton (born November 8, 1989) is an American professional baseball right fielder for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). Prior to 2012, he was known as Mike Stanton. Stanton graduated from Notre Dame High School, before he was selected by the Marlins in the 2007 MLB draft.

Jimmy Breslin

James Earle "Jimmy" Breslin (October 17, 1928 – March 19, 2017) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist and author. Until the time of his death, he wrote a column for the New York Daily News Sunday edition. Channel S is a UK-based, free-to-air television channel targeting the British Bangladeshi community. The channel was established on 16 December 2004, by Mahee Ferdous Jalill – a Bangladeshi businessman in London. On Sky it had a timesharing deal with ATN Global, and then in 2005 it started to broadcast for 24 hours, 7 days a week, and is currently available on Sky channel 814.

Arrival (film)

Arrival is a 2016 American science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve and written by Eric Heisserer, based on the 1998 short story "Story of Your Life" by Ted Chiang. It stars Amy Adams, Jeremy Renner and Forest Whitaker. Arrival had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival on September 1, 2016, and was released in the United States on November 11, 2016, in IMAX by Paramount Pictures.
