Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Lieber , December 28, 1922 – November 12, 2018) was an American comic-book writer, editor, producer, and publisher. He was the editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, and later its publisher and chairman, leading its expansion from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation.

The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections were held on November 6, 2018, with early voting taking place in some states in the weeks before. Elections were held to elect representatives from all 435 congressional districts across each of the 50 U.S. states. Non-voting delegates from the District of Columbia and four of the five inhabited U.S. territories were also elected.

In the elections to the United States Senate that were held on November 6, 2018, 33 of the 100 seats were contested in regular elections and two seats in special elections. The winners of the 33 regular elections will serve six-year terms from January 3, 2019, to January 3, 2025. Democrats had 26 seats up for election, including the seats of two independents who caucus with them.
