It is currently ongoing in Russia starting from 14 June and will end with the final match on 15 July 2018. Russia was awarded the hosting rights on 2 December 2010.

It will begin on 30 June with the round of 16 and end on 15 July with the final match, held at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow.
