Karen Anne Carpenter (March 2, 1950 – February 4, 1983) was an American singer and drummer, and part of the duo the Carpenters with her brother Richard. She was critically acclaimed for her contralto vocals, and her drumming was praised by contemporary musicians and peers. Carpenter was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and moved to Downey, California, in 1963 with her family.

N'Golo Kanté

N'Golo Kanté (French: [ŋɡolo kɑ̃te]; born 29 March 1991) is a French professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for English club Chelsea and the France national team. Michael Iver Peterson (born October 23, 1943) is an American novelist who was convicted in 2003 of murdering his second wife, Kathleen Peterson. On December 9, 2011, Peterson was granted a new trial which was scheduled to begin on May 8, 2017. On February 24, 2017, Peterson submitted an Alford plea to the reduced charge of manslaughter.
