Mario Draghi (Italian: [ˈmaːrjo ˈdraːɡi]; born 3 September 1947) is an Italian economist and central banker who served as President of the European Central Bank between 2011 and 2019. Before that, he was the inaugural Chair of the Financial Stability Board from 2009 to 2011 and was also Governor of the Bank of Italy from 2005 to 2011.

He has been the U.S. Representative for California's 23rd congressional district since 2007.
