The tabulating machine was an electromechanical machine designed to assist in summarizing information stored on punched cards. Invented by Herman Hollerith, the machine was developed to help process data for the 1890 U.S. Census. Later models were widely used for business applications such as accounting and inventory control.
The IBM 7090 is a second-generation transistorized version of the earlier IBM 709 vacuum tube mainframe computer that was designed for "large-scale scientific and technological applications". He is known for his role as Tasogare Seibei (The Twilight Samurai). His role as 'The Fool' in the Shakespeare play King Lear gave him notable theatrical notice in the UK. Sanada is also a recording artist in Japan.
