Taliban

The Taliban (; Pashto: طالبان‎, romanized: ṭālibān, lit. 'students' or 'seekers'), which refers to itself as the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), is a Deobandi Islamist movement and military organization in Afghanistan, currently waging war (an insurgency, or jihad) within the country.
