2022 Crimean Bridge explosion

On 8 October 2022, at 6:07 a. m. , a fire broke out on the Crimean Bridge as a result of an explosion, which occurred on the road part of the bridge, on the westbound lanes running from Russia to Kerch in Crimea. The fire spread to the railway part of the bridge and caused the partial collapse of the road spans into the water. At least three people have died as a result of the fire.
