On 15 April 2026, a school shooting occurred at the Ayser ΓalΔ±k Secondary School in the OnikiΕubat district of KahramanmaraΕ Province, Turkey. Δ°sa Aras Mersinli, a 13-year old student at the school, shot and killed 10 people and injured 12 more before being stabbed by Necmettin BekΓ§i, the father of two children who attend the school.
